All the preconditions indicate that World War III will soon begin. It seems that in the 21st century these words will never be pronounced, because it is as if the notion itself had disappeared with the ruin of the “Evil Empire”. It was believed that in the multipolar world there was nobody to fight continental battles against (the Second World War was such), and all the more nuclear (which is supposed to be the Third World War) battles. 

Practically all people imagine a war in images. The fissures of trenches, the burnt prairie shows black in the distance, somewhere beyond the horizon there is an “enemy”, and we’re here – on the front line. These images are formed by films and stories about that terrible and already remote war – the war of our grandfathers and fathers. About the Great Patriotic War, or the Second World War. World War III is preparing the surprise for us. There is no front. There is no enemy. There is no faith.

Many people believe that the Third World War is already being conducted. At least mass media tell us about it over and over again with the importunity, which has no bounds. So who conducts the information battle and for what? History repeats itself: as before, the global conflict is being unleashed for the right to own land. However, in the age of resource-based economies this land, besides territories and population, must have one more property - the resources. Oil, coal, gas are the motive force of all the world economies. And the central political actors in the potential World War III are the old “frenemies” - the USA and Russia. The two great powers that can mutually annihilate not only the armies of each other but the planet itself with the reserves of their nuclear weapons. Though nobody already brandishes its nuclear capabilities. At least it would be silly to start a nuclear war, because each country, having nuclear weapons, can grasp the opportunity of the blowback, so that the whole world risks turning into the burnt prairie. Therefore, the Third World War uses new weapons – mass media that allow to change unwanted governments sometimes without any shot and without apparent foreign intervention.

The “peacemaker”, the EU countries, should also be mentioned. Though this peacemaker more than ever reminds the provocateur, dancing to the US tune. From the countries of Europe the repeat of the US shouts echoes – sanctions, sanctions, sanctions, and World War III.

The world globalization led to the globality of the oncoming Third World War. The opportunity to get news online gave humanity a privilege to learn about everything much quicker than before. However, the amount of information, flowing to us, discouraged people from analyzing and estimating critically given facts and events. For many people the sequence of insurrections, democratic revolutions and local military conflicts are just the separate parts of the world history. Is it really so? It is the question which has no answer. Whether we believe in the “world puppeteers”, masons and other “world pantocrators”, whether we rely on the discretion of the world leaders in the usage of nuclear weapons – now it doesn’t influence in any way the events in the world. World War III may be conducted only on the monitors of computers and in the headphones of radio receivers, but it is already going on, unleashing spirally the global conflict. 

At the same time, local military conflicts in different spots of the world tell us that World War III will occur, the question is - when?
